Considering how much the Pentel Clic Erasers can run– this is a GREAT buy. You get 6 “wands” in really pretty bight colors, and THIRTY refills. I LOVED the Pentel wand erasers as a kid and thought this might be a nice solution to my kids tearing off the pencil top eraser. The problems is, when you buy a name brand, sometimes you are not just buying the name, you are buying the QUALITY. Pentel erasers are infamously soft– which i love and it’s what makes them awesome. These erasers are not soft, not like Pentel or even like the typical polymer erasers– they are actually a little hard, despite the vendor description. They don’t erase as smoothly either. When we tested them out, they did smear on the paper and it takes quite a bit to erase normal pencil. It’s a great buy, still, but maybe my kids are still too young to appreciate Pentels and don’t care about the difference.
