If the impeller stops, the inlet or outlet is clogged as a result of impurities, or the pump runs dry, the thermal switch installed in the pump will disconnect it from the mains until it has cooled down. Switching on is automatic.With their relatively small dimensions, the pumps provide a high capacity and head. This is due to the use of modern, energy-efficient motors and high-quality seals under the impeller chamber, which reduce efficiency losses to a minimum.The pump can be used in swimming pools provided no one is in the water. The AQUAJET PFN pump can only be used for liquids up to 35°C.It is sufficient to clean the impeller seat once a month. To prevent drops in pump performance, the filter cartridge should be cleaned by rinsing it in water taken from the pond, which does not destroy the bacterial flora in the sponge and counteracts the reduction in biological filtration performance. The frequency of rinsing the cartridge depends on the degree of water contamination and should be carried out when the pump’s performance decreases significantly.Pumps of the AQUAJET PFN series have been manufactured in compliance with the currently applicable safety standards. The pump may only be connected to the mains via a plug socket with a protective contact. The plug should be connected to a mains socket located in a dry place.
