I sew as a hobby and often have a bit of hand-sewing to do, whether it’s poking in thread tails, basting, or making an invisible stitch. I know some people have opinions about their hand sewing needles but I really am not picky. In general I like mine to have a bigger eye for ease of threading. These are nice and large and I have really enjoyed using them.The case is stylish, functional, and makes me happy when I use it. I like that it had a flat bottom so it stand up. I think if you have needles you prefer to use this is worth it just fro the case and you can put your favorite needles in it. The only thing is it’s made for quite long needles, so if you sew with shorter ones you may find it a pain to get out the needle you want to use.This lives in my hand-sewing kit along with my needle puller, snips, old thread, and seam ripper. It keeps all my needles easy to find in my little pouch and easy to put away afterwards. I don’t lose needles in my pouch and I never poke myself trying to find a needle. Losing needles while getting ready to sew and poking myself while sewing on the other hand, those still happen plenty cause this case cannot fix those problems
