I bought this a long time ago and never ended up using it.Then I came across a rescue dog. Not just any little dog, no.. she was a solid muscle American Bulldog.Now, to be fair, I don’t hit or yell at any animals for starters. This long, yet manageable rope had no issues holding her. She just wanted to please and be a good girl, and that she was, but the few times she did bolt off (once I threw a pear after eating it straight from a pear tree and she thought she wanted to play fetch), it got the hardest “snap” or “yank” it had ever received.It held up just fine. We’d go for walks every single morning when the grass was still just barely damp, and several other times throughout the day, and it never seemed to fray, tear or show any signs of wear and tear.Great leash. I debated on 4 stars vs 5 stars for “Easy to Hold” because I had to use the loop and practically hook it to my arm. She was a GREAT dog, don’t get me wrong, but she had been abused and kept confined, so she did try and bolt off a few times.So, luckily, the way the leash is designed, I could grip it and wrap it around my wrist/forearm and never had any issues with it whatsoever.Definitely a great, sturdy leash that was also quite “soft” feeling to the skin. AKA no “rug burn” issues or anything. I still have it and I’d buy another one if the need arose. Great product.
